Dr. LEE, Hyeon Woo is a Professor at DanKook University in Korea, a TTA Mobile Standard Committee vice chair, and a 6G Forum executive committee vice chair.

He served as a National R&D Program Director under the Ministry of Knowledge Economy of Korea from 2009 until 2013. He was head of the Global Standard & Research Lab at Samsung Electronics from 1984 until 2009.

He received his BSEE from Seoul National University in 1985, an MBA from Sogang University in 1989, and his ME and Ph.D. degrees from KAIST in 1994 and 2003 respectively.

He works on 5G/6G mobile communication, international standards, and R&D strategy planning. He is a member of KICS, IEEE, and IEICE.

Education & Professional Experience

Ms. Liu received her master’s degree in Information Management from National Central University and holds professional certifications in information security management. She previously served as Information Security Manager at a major financial institution, where she was responsible for establishing cybersecurity policies, conducting risk assessments, managing incident response, and providing internal security training.

She currently serves as Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at Asia Cybersecurity Solutions. She assists enterprises in cybersecurity assessments, zero-trust architecture planning, cloud security management, and personal data protection framework implementation. Her clients include organizations in the finance, healthcare, manufacturing, education, and government sectors.

Biography

Ms. Liu has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and is deeply familiar with the security risks and management challenges that enterprises face during digital transformation. She is skilled at translating cybersecurity issues into clear and practical recommendations that can be understood by both decision-makers and general users.

In this lecture, Ms. Liu will focus on cybersecurity protection strategies in the era of digital transformation. Topics will include cloud environment risks, account and access management, prevention of social engineering attacks, and how enterprises can build a more resilient cybersecurity culture.
